Love the movies? Betsoft celebrates our favorite pastime with this cinema-themed slot. With symbols like popcorn, movie tickets, and a projector scanner (scatter), players are guaranteed a great time with this slot. Save for the confusing soundtrack, everything else is consistent with the movie theme.

Playing this game, I quickly noticed that it's quite different from other Betsoft slots. The only real feature I can mention is the free spins option. This is triggered when 3 to 5 projector symbols land on the screen (8 to 20 free spins). The free spins offer you a great opportunity to win big, and not just because of the extra spins themselves. Your rewards will all get a 2X multiplier. Awesome, right?

Keep in mind that I wasn’t able to trigger free spins frequently. In practice, most of the game goes on without any features.

Now, let’s look at the wild symbol. It is represented by 2 masks and is wild for all icons apart from the projector. And the cherry on top? All winnings involving the wild will be doubled. Keep in mind that the wild symbol only occurs on reels 2 and 4.

It’s no secret that this game can be monotonous. For this reason, you should use the auto-spin option to place multiple wagers. You can place up to 100 spins with this feature. Make sure you set the maximum loss or win that will prompt the auto-spins to end.

In my opinion, At the Movies is definitely not the best release by Betsoft. The main drawback is that it doesn’t have many bonus features. You can only use the free spins, and even these are triggered rarely. The soundtrack could also be better; it doesn’t reflect the theme of the game.
