The Day of the Dead is an annual festival that begins on the 31st of October, lasting for three days while the families gather together in a colorful celebration of those who are no longer with them. Despite the theme, it’s a colorful and happy celebration and this is what IGT did with this slot. HOW TO PLAY THE DAY OF THE DEAD SLOT
This colorful video slot features a setup of 5 reels and no less than 720 paylines, with an RTP of 92%, making it a game for the more patient players. You will have to set up a coin value first and this can be set from 1.00 to 5.00, raising the maximum bet at 250.00. 

The visuals are fun and vibrant, combining some themes from Mexican culture with traditional casino elements, making for a truly special experience. The music is also on par with the visuals, a mariachi band accompanying you every time you interact with the reels. The highest-paying symbol is the Day of the Dead logo which will award you with 1000 coins for five on a line.
 

DAY OF THE DEAD SLOT FEATURES

• Wild symbol. The coffin-shaped cookie is the Wild symbol of this slot, serving to replace any other symbol on the reels except for the Scatter. It will only appear on reels 2, 3 and 4.
   

• Scatter symbol. The Scatter symbol is represented by the pink candy skull. The Scatters are usually the triggers for the Free Spins game mode but in this case, the candy skull will just award you with some nice multipliers, the maximum being 5x your bet for five on a payline.
   

• Bonus symbol. The Bonus symbol is the one that triggers the Free Spins and it’s represented by the portrait of a skeleton woman. You’ll have to land five of these in order to trigger the special feature.

All in all, Day of the Dead is such a fun little slot that we just couldn’t get enough of.
