Getting up in front of other people to do karaoke can be daunting, but also exciting. The Karaoke Party slot tries to capture the thrills and fun of karaoke. However, it doesn’t exactly do a good job.

The slot pays tribute to karaoke’s Japanese roots by having its high-paying symbols feature Japanese people singing their hearts out at karaoke. The graphics capture the spirit of karaoke well, but that’s about it. 

There isn’t any music playing in the background, which is very disappointing considering the slot’s themed to music. It does have some sound effects, such as the whirring noise of the reels spinning. However, they don’t stand out and none of them are related to music or karaoke.

As for gameplay, it wasn’t the best. It’s great that the slot has a free spins round with tripled winnings. The problem is that this is very rare; Karaoke Party is a highly volatile slot after all. During my gaming session, I never got to play the free spins round, which I wasn’t very pleased about.

While playing Karaoke Party, I managed to get some smaller wins. There was a bigger one that was roughly 20x my bet, though it was pretty much the odd one out. I ended up with a loss which is to be expected.

Overall, I would recommend this slot to players who like highly volatile games. But if you’re going to play it, don’t expect an immersive experience. And have a big budget because you could go many spins without winning; plus, the free spins round is rare to trigger.

I would have enjoyed the slot more if there had been some music. It’s not much, but it makes a difference and it’s something you’d expect a slot based on karaoke to have.
