Hollywood Bingo: Match the Stars for up to 750x Wins

Set on a futuristic red carpet just outside of the cityscapes, MGA’s Hollywood Bingo adopts a standard Bingo draw, an option to draw extra balls for added wins, two different bonus games, and prizes up to 750x your bet. Let me tell you why I wasn’t a huge fan of the game below. 

During regular bets, you draw 44 balls with random numbers from a drum containing 75 balls which is pretty standard. On average, I was getting wins between 0.75x to 2.5x my bet every 2 to 5 bets. This meant the base game was slowly chipping away at my bankroll until I took the plunge and tried to buy extra balls. 

The game gave me the option to buy extra balls at random mostly on lost bets where I wasn’t able to trigger a win. You can draw up to 10 extra balls with each costing an additional 0.25x to 0.35x your bet which was a little too costly than other titles. 

Although I didn’t get huge wins using the feature, I could mostly count on it to give me between 0.5x to 3x returns if the numbers landing were favorable. The most I won was a little less than 28x my bet which was the highlight of my playthrough and gave me a modest profit over my bankroll. 

There are two different bonus features in the game which can be triggered by matching the bonus labeled figure in the prizeplan above the bingo charts. The second bonus is the easier to trigger and lets you pick between various mystery objects from a film studio and has prizes associated with them. 

In my opinion, this was the best bonus to trigger as it had fairly consistent rewards coming with it. On the flip side, you also have the first bonus which is much harder to trigger and lets you pick between a bunch of cells containing an instant cash reward, an end bonus, or a mystery wildcard. 

After thoroughly testing Hollywood Bingo by MGA, I have mixed feelings about the game. On one hand, it has a slightly profitable base game with high risks but on the other, it brings two features with impressive bonuses. I would recommend it if you are a hardcore Bingo enthusiast but for new players, you’d do better with a simpler entry instead.
