This made it difficult to turn a profit in the base game, leading to small but consistent losses. These losses didn’t significantly impact my bankroll, but they were definitely worth noting. 

Moving on to the free spins bonus wasn’t easy either. Unlike the frequent wilds, scatters were much harder to land, and I needed 3 of them to trigger the feature. The real excitement came during the free spins, where all wilds become sticky and all wins are doubled with a 2x multiplier. 

When I finally landed 3 scatters and triggered 12 free spins, I secured an impressive 34.60x win, which gave my bankroll a temporary boost and even resulted in a small profit. However, I couldn’t re-trigger the free spins until the end of my playthrough. By that point, I had already faced some significant losses, but the 46x win I managed to score covered most of them.

Even though my playthrough of Dead or Alive wasn’t very profitable, I found that the game still holds up well despite being released in 2015. It offers a decent base game with a fun bonus round that has the potential for profit. While the mechanics and theme may feel overused, I still think the game is worth a shot.
