When you come to play Medusa Megaways, all you’ve got to do is pick a bet value then click to spin the reels. There are 10 bet values you can choose from: 0.25, 0.50, 0.75, 1, 1.25, 2.5, 5, 6.25, 12.50 and 25. • Greek Mythology Theme. This slot’s based on Medusa, a monstrous figure from ancient Greek mythology who had snakes for hair and whose stare could turn anyone into stone. The setting is Medusa’s lair, which has temple ruins scattered about and a dark purple sky in the background.
   
• MegaWays Mechanic. The Megaways mechanic was developed by Big Time Gaming and has been licensed out to slots by other providers. Every time you spin, reels 1 and 6 can have two to seven symbols on them and reels 2-5 can have two to six symbols on them. However, there’s an extra row of symbols above reels 2-5 that gives them an extra symbol, so really all six reels can have up to seven symbols on them with every spin. The number of symbols per reel is random and changes on every spin. There are no set paylines. Instead, you form winning combinations by landing matching symbols on consecutive reels, with the first symbol in the chain on the leftmost reel. Thanks to Megaways, every spin of the reels has between 324 and a huge 117,649 ways to win!
   
• Reactions. Whenever you form a winning combination, all winning symbols vanish. Any empty spaces on the main reel grid are replaced by new symbols falling from above. Spaces in the extra row on top are filled by symbols moving to the left. This feature gives you the chance to win more than once from a single spin of the reels - in fact, there’s no limit to how many consecutive wins you can land.
   
• Symbols. There are 10 standard symbols to look out for. Half of these are card ranks, while the other half has to do with ancient Greece and include Pegasus, some soldiers fighting and a pair of sandals. • Unlimited Win Multiplier. When you start using free spins, a x2 multiplier is in effect. It increases by x1 every time you form a winning combination. There’s no upper limit to how higher the multiplier can get. It resets to x1 once you’ve finished using your free spins.

• Medusa’s Gaze. This feature has a chance of triggering whenever one or more wild lands on the topmost row above the main reel set. The reel directly below the wild becomes a fully wild reel.
   
• Snake Strike. While using free spins, snakes appear to the left and right of the topmost row. Every soldier symbol that appears in this row get attacked. If it’s attacked by the snake on the left, it turns into a wild; if it’s the snake on the right that attacks, the soldier turns into a scatter.
