Sweet Magic: Stack Cascading Candy Clusters for up to 10,000x Wins

There's no shortage of candy-themed slots these days, so Sweet Magic had to do a little more than throw gummy bears onto the reels to get my attention. Cluster pays, cascading reels, random Wilds, growing multipliers, and a 10,000x max win certainly help, but the real question was whether the gameplay could keep me interested.

The game uses a 7x7 grid with cluster pays, requiring at least five matching symbols connected horizontally or vertically to form a win. Cascading reels remove winning symbols before dropping new ones into place, while symbol values range from 0.10x to 50x your bet. Every winning cluster also has a chance to leave behind a Wild for the next cascade, and I quickly realized these Wilds were doing far more heavy lifting than I'd expected.

Most of my wins landed every three to six spins, usually paying between 1.10x and 6.50x my bet.

Multipliers add another layer by marking winning positions, doubling each time another winning symbol is removed from that same spot, up to a maximum of 128x. Even fairly small multipliers made a noticeable difference during my session, with a simple 4x multiplier helping push one cascade all the way to a tidy 19.20x payout.

Scatter symbols appeared regularly enough that I kept seeing one or two every couple of spins, but somehow it still took me well over 100 spins before the third one finally showed up. Three Scatters award 10 free spins, and unlike the base game, all multiplier positions stay on the grid between spins, allowing them to keep growing throughout the entire feature. I even managed to retrigger the bonus with two more Scatters for extra spins, but despite the persistent multipliers, the bonus still finished just shy of 40x my bet.

Sweet Magic gets a lot right mechanically. The Wilds make cascades much more exciting than they first appear, and persistent multipliers give the bonus game a nice sense of progression. I just wish those free spins delivered more consistently after taking so long to trigger. It's a solid candy slot with plenty of potential, but you'll need a bit of patience before it really starts paying you back.
