9 Lions Hold the Jackpot: Hold Onto Shiny Gold Coins for up to 750x Jackpots

Deep within the ancient Chinese countryside, you can find wins up to 750x in Wazdan's 9 Lions Hold the Jackpot slot. Look out for golden coin symbols to enter the bonus game, where you can hold up to 10x cash prizes and aim for four different jackpots. It sounds promising at first, but let me explain why this game ended up getting a low rating from me. 

Like many Wazdan slots, this game features a 3x3 grid, but the main game has no paying symbols. To win, you need to trigger the bonus game by landing three bonus symbols on the grid. The issue here is that these three symbols only activate the bonus if they land on the middle reel, which is much easier said than done. 

This results in a lot of dead spins in the main game and I was only bale to trigger the bonus round after the first 30 spins in-game. I luckily landed a mystery symbol, a mini jackpot, and a coin with a 5x prize which triggered 3 re-spins where any other symbol landing on the reels reset the number of spins back to three. The round went on for some time where I was landing coins at the last possible spin to get me three more chances. 

I got lucky when the mystery symbol turned into a cash pot and helped me secure a 137x win from the round. Even with this nice win, it took me another 20 minutes of spinning to trigger the Hold and Win bonus round again. This time, a sticky red coin with a 7x prize brought me a smaller but still welcome 19x win.

The 9 Lions Hold the Jackpot slot by Wazdan could have been great if it weren't for the small grid and the difficult bonus game trigger.
