Western-themed slots are always fun to play. And this time, it was time that I tried the Black Gold slot to see what it could offer me. First of all, this title attracts me with its theme. It took me on a mission where I had to wander in the Wild West in search of oil and exciting rewards.

I’ve got to tell you that, as a whole, the game looks good. And this is mainly because, thanks to the 3D animations, the symbols look almost realistic. I could enjoy different depictions of oil rigs, barrels, barns, horses and “Danger” signs that did nothing but make the whole atmosphere even more thematic.

The sound effects were also nice, but during the gameplay, they became too repetitive, and I decided to mute them. There was no special background music, though. I think adding such one would help with the overall excitement. 

Since I am an adventurous person, I have to tell you that I liked a lot of the options that this slot offered me. The game boasts low to medium volatility, and I was able to see the right symbols, making winning combos more often. Besides, I could boost my bankroll thanks to the additional free spin rounds during the gameplay. To my surprise, during the free spins rounds, the bar symbol could multiply my winnings once it landed on the reels. 

What else that made my session even more amusing was the special Drilling for Oil feature, where I had to click on any of the three drilling symbols to see what kind of prize I would receive. The game also offered me a bonus round once three or more Oil Pump icons appeared where I had to guess whether the number would be higher or lower than the one that appeared on the screen.
