Energoonz: From Sparks to Cha-Ching

Energoonz is a strange-looking slot with unique features. The first thing I noticed is that it doesn’t have reels. Instead of the usual rolling reels, the symbols just fall into place. The symbols in the game include lightning bolts, falling balls of fire, a mass of energy, and many cartoonish aliens. I liked the funny animations the characters make when they fall on the reels. The theme is a little confusing as it appears to be a combination of energy and aliens, and these two don’t have any obvious relationship.

I still enjoyed the strange nature of this theme and design. However, the best part of the game was the multiplier. To understand this feature, you first need to learn the mechanism of the game. Whenever a winning combination is formed, the winning icons disappear, and new ones fall to replace them.

The multiplier reel on the left will keep going up with each new winning combo. Remember that it will be reset for every new spin. I mostly made it up to the 4X multiplier, which isn’t bad. What I liked about the multiplier is that it comes around in most spins.

To get the bonus of this game, you’ll have to clear an entire column with the word ‘BONUS’ spelled out. The columns are assigned randomly at the start of the start of the spin. You can get 1, 2, or even 3 bonus columns at a time.

The bonus is played on a new grid with a fresh set of icons. The bonus games have higher payouts, with the highest being 350X. I was fascinated by the way the matching icons are electrocuted to reveal a win in the bonus game.

To sum up, Energoonz offered a nice break from the regular video and classic slots. It has nice animations and artwork. The bonus was a little elusive, so I had to mostly rely on the multipliers for a boost.
