Flaming Hot Extreme: A Tribute to the Classics

While I was browsing games to write about, I stumbled upon Flaming Hot Extreme by Amusnet. As I am familiar with this provider and some of its titles, I gave this game a try as well.

While the graphics seem promising at first glance, the winning sound effects and the theme remind me of the classic Sizzling Hot. The background colors choice is not the best, in my opinion, and the placements of the jackpot cards may be tiring for the eye. This game looks amazing, but while it is static, form the thumbnail, and maybe while the first spins. Also, the “burning” animation is just off. For me, it looks like the fruits are in an oven.

I may be biased, but I believe that the fruits theme is somehow overused and not original. The  fruit slots are not my favorite unless they are the classic ones or they bring something wow to the table. The free spins bonus takes forever to trigger, and for me, the outcome was not profitable.

The jackpot cards feature is too complicated for beginning players, as it implies playing a lot and it is triggering randomly. As this reminded me of Loco Habanero, another game I truly dislike, I was not interested in this feature unless it would start. During my gameplay, it was not triggered. The respins are not lucrative, and sometimes they trigger with no outcome at all.

Flaming Hot Extreme also offers a gambling feature, a standard feature found in many slots. But here, I managed to double some wins.

Overall, the atmosphere was dull for me. There are so many fruit slots out there, and they seem like copies of each other. I have a few titles that I like, even if I am not a fan of fruits; however, I can say that this is not one of them. The features are hard to trigger, the base game wins are small, the Wild is not showing pretty often, and the sound effects are not original and overall annoying, with an arcade twist that is not suitable for the theme.
