Multiplay 81: Connect Bars, Fruits, and 7s for up to 160X Wins With up to 8X Wild Multipliers

EGaming is on a roll with their classic slot titles lately but a lot of their games have frankly failed to hit the sweet spot for most gamers. With up to 8x wild multipliers and up to 160x symbol pays, is Multiplay 81 going to stand out from their other titles? Let me tell you why I don’t think so. 

The standard gameplay loop of Multiplay 81 revolves around an unconventional 4x3 grid with 81 paylines. With fruits, bars, and 7s on the reels, I thought that the game would be easy to make wins in. However, the layout heavily diminishes symbol combinations and although I was making between 1x to 8x wins, it took me between 5 to 10 spins to land them. 

The slot focuses entirely on its base game, offering no additional features apart from wilds, which can include multipliers up to 8x when part of a winning combination. However, these wilds are incredibly inconsistent and frequently fail to align with winning symbols. The highest multiplier I encountered was just 4x, and nothing higher throughout my playthrough.

Another positive factor that turned out to be a negative was the inclusion of BAR symbols themselves. At first, I was under the impression that they would form consistent wins but they turned out to be a major hurdle when trying to trigger higher winning symbol combinations. 

I also decided to let the game run on autoplay for a while just to see what else it had in store for me. However, the highest win I saw was 31x my bet thanks to two symbol combos being boosted by a 2x win multiplier. On average the base game was unprofitable and without a bonus game, there isn’t much of a reason to hold out hope for big wins. 

Despite starting out on the right track with glossy symbols, shiny graphics, and engaging animations, the Multiplay 81 slot game fails to deliver on the gameplay and profitability end of the bargain. I will not recommend you play it for real money, there are plenty of other slot titles with better odds to explore on our website.
