We’ve all heard the tales of Atlantis, but I wasn’t about to go underwater to find it at any point. However, Atlantis from Evoplay looked like a slot that’d give me a glimpse of what the city must have been like in terms of appearance and wealth. As expected, the theme was spot on, though the background music didn’t match the underwater vibe.

I started off by placing a 10-coin bet per spin and setting the auto spin to 100 rounds to save manual spin time. The payouts came in faster than I expected, with my 5th round paying 5 coins which was quite disappointing. 

As I waited to hit another win, I noticed that there was a diamond symbol that somehow interacted with a green calabash split into four that was positioned in a water fountain just outside the reels. With each appearance of a diamond, a piece of the calabash moved from the water to the top of the fountain so I figured the goal was to get all four of them to the top.

This slot has one of the highest variances I’ve come across because I didn’t hit another win till my 37th spin. However, when the win came, it was 100 coins for a 10 coins bet, and that was a 10x I didn’t see coming. I was also unable to get four diamonds in consecutive spins to move all the calabash pieces to the top of the fountain.

Once I crossed 50 spins, I got some big wins back-to-back but still didn’t trigger the bonus feature. It took 93 spins to finally get the calabash together, which eventually landed me my biggest win of 500 coins.
