The base game in the Cosmic Rush Dream Drop slot will launch you into a 6x4 grid with 4,096 paylines and a low-medium volatility setting. Although it might sound enticing, regular combinations are few and far between. I was making wins every 6 to 9 spins and getting between 0.4x to 4x returns. 

This is where the cash and collect symbols come through to help. The cash symbols randomly drop throughout the grid and need a collect symbol to activate and add up their amounts. After adding up all the cash symbols landed during that spin, the collect symbol gives you an instant reward. I was making between 5x to 25x returns with this feature every 10 to 20 spins. 

You can activate nitro spins for an extra 0.5x bet amount to get more cash and collect symbols but I didn’t find a significant difference while using it so I wouldn’t recommend switching it on for casual playthroughs. 

Every cash symbol that lands on the reels and doesn’t have a collect symbol to take its value will contribute to the rush meter that awards random multipliers between 1x to 10x when active. Although nice to have, I usually saw a 2x multiplier that didn’t contribute to winnings much. 

Now we come to the biggest moneymaker in the game, the free spins. Activating them might take some time but you can get between 10 to 30 spins depending on how many scatters you land. The free spins are aided by the cash rush and wild rush symbols as well as increasing your winnings. 

With just 10 free spins and the wild rush symbol, I made between 70x to 110x returns whereas the spins with cash rush coughed up 50x to 90x returns. These helped me make the biggest wins during my session! 

The most ambitious yet underwhelming feature is the Dream Drop Jackpot Bonus. It is played on a wheel with 5 different jackpots and the wheel keeps spinning until you land on the jackpot symbols enough times to trigger them. 

Sounds really cool but the issue is that although I tried the feature numerous times, I was only ever able to trigger the rapid jackpot bonus which awarded a measly 1.03x to 2x returns. 

Finally, you also have the Fortune Coins mechanic common to all Four Leaf Gaming slot games. Fortune coin symbols will appear throughout the reels as you play and can be used to buy bonuses. 

Before I drop the mic and search for more games, I’d just like to say that Cosmic Rush Dream Drop is a solid addition that sets a higher bar for slot games with a ton of features for players. Although not all of them stuck, the ones that did were solid and the game deserves a shot.
