I was looking forward to playing Cashapillar by Games Global and sharing my experience of the slot with you. As you can tell from its name, it’s themed to insects and creepy crawlies. A variety of bugs make up the high-paying symbols, with playing card icons serving as the low-paying ones.

On paper, the slot sounds worthwhile. It has 100 paylines, a wild that doubles payouts,, and a free spins round with tripled winnings. When playing the slot, I was pleasantly surprised to get a large win worth about 48x my bet early on. 

Throughout my gaming session, I landed quite a few other wins, some of them several times the size of my bet, which was great. Having so many paylines helps, especially when the slot uses an extra large 5x5 grid.

I got to play the free spins round, which was a lot of fun. One thing I should point out is that the sound effects in the base game are quite basic with no music playing in the background, though you do hear a bit of music when you win. By contrast, the free spins round has a rather upbeat soundtrack playing all the time that livens things up a bit. 

I won over 23x my bet during the free spins round, which is pretty good. I liked that wins are tripled - it’s always good for a special feature like this to have some kind of built-in bonus.

The slot’s RTP is slightly below 96%, but I was lucky and ended up with a profit of around 33x my bet. This was thanks to a few big wins and the free spins round. Even though the slot’s design could be improved, the game itself is perfectly good. 

I’m more than happy to recommend Cashapillar. I liked having wins boosted by wilds and the free spins round’s multiplier. Even though I only got to play free spins once, my session didn’t result in an overall loss, which was great.
