Face Up Blackjack by Games Inc: An Average Deal in Gaming
Eduard rated this game:
3 out of 5
Face Up Blackjack by Games Inc. is a casino game that I recently tried, and it left me with mixed feelings. It's a straightforward take on the classic blackjack game, and while it has its pros, there are some notable cons too.
On the positive side, the game's simplicity is a plus for beginners. The rules are clear, and it's easy to get started without being overwhelmed by complex features or strategies. The interface is clean and uncomplicated, making it user-friendly.
One of the distinctive features of Face Up Blackjack is that both the dealer's cards are dealt face up. This adds an interesting twist to the game, as you can see the dealer's hand from the beginning. It's an advantage for players, offering transparency and a different dimension to the decision-making process.
However, the game doesn't include any side bets or bonus features, which I think could have made it more engaging. Also, this transparency comes at a cost. The dealer wins all ties except for blackjack, which tilts the odds slightly in the house's favor. This can be frustrating for players aiming for a draw, as even if they tie with the dealer, they lose the hand.
I also believe that in terms of presentation, the game falls short. The graphics are basic, lacking the visual appeal found in more modern blackjack games. The absence of engaging animations or thematic elements makes the gaming experience feel somewhat lackluster.
So, bottom line, I think that despite its simplicity, Face Up Blackjack by Games Inc. offers a unique twist on the traditional game. While the transparent dealing of cards adds a strategic layer, the game's lack of visual appeal and the dealer's advantage in ties might deter some players. If you're a fan of classic blackjack, this game might fit the bill.
