NetEnt’s Lights is a 5x3 slot game with vibrant graphics, a relaxing background score, random wilds, and up to 30 free spins. With two different bets and significant symbol pays, I was quite excited to try the game out myself. Let me tell you why this short and sweet slot title is worth a shot! 

The base game comes with the standard 5-reel and 3-row grid with 9 paylines and medium volatility. Although I was a little worried about the low number of paylines at the start, I quickly realized that it wouldn’t be much of an issue thanks to random wilds popping up every spin! 

With the floating wilds feature, you get between 2 to 4 wild symbols popping up randomly throughout the reels. For the most part, I was landing 2 wilds every spin and getting wins worth 0.30x to 3.2x my bet every 3 to 6 spins. 

Landing extra wilds with a high-paying symbol combination is the key to making impressive wins here. I was able to get a massive win worth 23 times my bet during regular gameplay. Although rare, I was able to land 3 such wins which earned me a handy little profit from the base game. 

Coming to the free spins bonus game though, it is on another level entirely. I was able to trigger the bonus twice during my playthrough which lasted just under an hour and got 37x and 42x returns on my bet each time. Scatters land quite often during spins and getting up to 20 free spins was quite easy for me. 

Lights by NetEnt won me over with simple gameplay, drop-dead gorgeous graphics and animations, and of course, massive wins. If you are going to try it out, just be careful not to overdo the level bet. It didn’t make much of a difference during my tests and can quickly limit your bankroll if not managed carefully.
