Miss Midas Scratch: Experience Royalty
Victor Catalin rated this game:
4 out of 5
I appreciate that Miss Midas Scratch seems to offer fair payouts, providing a balanced gaming experience. Wins feel achievable, and it doesn't seem overly skewed in against you. For a card scratching game, I must admit that while the visuals look nice, the sound effects feel like they’re out of place and kinda ruin the experience for me, so I muted them after a while playing.
Now, talking about the mechanics, for a card scratching game, it has some amenities, like an autoplay function, or the ability to scratch the whole card at once, reducing the time between rounds. More than that, I was pleasantly surprised to see a bonus game feature, in the form of free spins, or should I say free cards. Not only that, but during these free games, the payouts are tripled, so the potential for big wins is out there.
Unfortunately, on the other side, the base game was not lucrative enough, which disappointed me a little. A little special feature I see incorporated with card scratching games from NextGen Gaming is the ability to switch to a slot version of the game, complete with payouts, reels and all that. To make the switch, there is a button on the screen and if you press it, you’ll be transported to the slot version. Unfortunately, it’s one way, so if you want to come back, you must reload the game.
Overall, Miss Midas Scratch is not a bad game at all. While I’m not the biggest fan of the visuals, they’re modern and crisp, and the payouts during the bonus rounds were big enough that I can recommend you give it a try. Just be careful with your bets and play responsibly.
