Fruits and Jokers: An Unengaging Gameplay

Many may think that fruit slots are the same. However, some software developers manage to make a classic fruit machine good enough to stand out from the crowd. I had the chance to play a game by Playson called Fruits and Jokers and I wanted to find out if it was any different.

Indeed, this slot was classic-looking with its standard grid of 5 reels and 3 rows. All symbols consisted of fruits and the ones that were a bit different were the Joker, which was the Wild, and the Star, which was the Scatter. 

The good news was that this slot had a bit more attractive graphic design. The 3D animations were good and the fruits looked rather realistic. There was no music, but only simple, non-distracting sound effects. 

There is something that I have to admit, though. I recently played another fruit slot by this software provider and it looked exactly the same. I could barely find any significant difference. As if they have only changed the name of the game. This was more or less a huge disappointment since I expected to enjoy a different experience. 

The gameplay was extremely simple and, honestly speaking, I was not able to benefit from engaging gameplay at all. And this is because the game did not offer any interesting features at all. Free spins were not available, and there was no bonus game either. Also, I was not able to benefit from any multipliers. 

At least the game offers frequent winning combos and I could often add extra credits to my bankroll. However, I suppose that simplicity is the major idea behind this game. If you are looking for straightforward and classic gameplay, then the game does the job. Other than that, it may not be that attractive to other players.
