Sea Fantasy: Traditional Slot Mixed With Arcade Pinball!

The ocean floor is our destination this time and Pragmatic Play has come up with an interesting concept for Sea Fantasy. You have a 4x3 grid of symbols accompanied by a pinball machine that drops balls into different shifting symbols. It may look complicated at first glance but I was able to catch on quickly. 

In the game, you make wins through the combination of the pinball game and the matching symbols. You have the regular wilds which substitute for other symbols and scatters that just exist like any other paying symbols with no mini-games attached to them. 

Landing the pinball on a paying symbol gets you a combination of said symbols on the reels, landing it on wilds gets you one or more wild symbols on the reels, and landing it on an instant cash award will get you between 1x to 5,000x rewards depending on the number you landed it on. 

In rare cases, two balls can come out of the machine and drop into two different symbols, one of them being a wild. I found it to be a neat little concept but it didn’t do anything other than pad the winnings a bit. 

However, your symbol can also land into whirlwind-like symbols which results in a loss. You have 81 ways to win and from my experience, every 4 or 5 spins you can make a small or medium win. 

The biggest wins in the game for me came from the cash reward symbols. They are not frequently found under the pinball machine but I saw rewards ranging from 10x to 50x during my session. 

All in all, Sea Fantasy by Pragmatic Play is a novel idea that needs some polish to have its potential fully realized. I quite enjoyed the gameplay and if you want a break from the traditional, I’d recommend trying the slot title out for free on our website and see if you like it!
