European Roulette by Realistic Games: A Standard Roulette Choice
Vlad rated this game:
3 out of 5
In my opinion, European Roulette by Realistic Games is a no-frills rendition of this timeless casino game. It doesn't aim to reinvent the wheel but rather offers a straightforward European roulette experience.
When playing, I found that you can place a variety of bets, including the basics like red or black, odd or even, and more strategic choices like split, zero treble, or Neighbours Bets. The game also provides features such as doubling your bet or repeating previous bets. However, there's a rather puzzling option to simply watch the roulette wheel spin, which I didn't find particularly useful or engaging. I also have to mention that I encountered a couple of bugs that made the game freeze, having to restart.
Graphically, European Roulette falls within the "average" category. It's important to note that this game was released back in 2014, and it doesn't visually impress as much as more recent offerings. The animations are decent but not exceptionally smooth, and the overall visual elements are serviceable. The sound effects are not amazing, but they do the job. Some background music would’ve increased the immersion, but instead the game feels quiet and incomplete.
Thankfully, the user interface is intuitive and user-friendly. Placing bets, clearing wagers, and making specialized bets like split, row, or corner bets is straightforward and can be done with just a click on the appropriate lines. The layout is designed for easy interaction, and the seemingly superfluous "watch roulette spin" feature doesn't interfere with the overall functionality.
In conclusion, European Roulette by Realistic Games offers a decent and no-nonsense version of this classic casino game. It doesn't venture into groundbreaking or innovative territory but instead focuses on delivering an authentic European roulette experience. I think it's worth a try if you're seeking a traditional roulette game. Whether I recommend it or not really depends on your personal preferences.
