Triple Double Bonus Poker by Saucify: Not What You’d Expect
Eduard rated this game:
2.5 out of 5
Triple Double Bonus Poker by Saucify is a video poker game that left me feeling quite underwhelmed. It's like getting a gift you thought was exciting but turns out to be a dud. Here's why.
First off, the graphics are pretty bland. I mean, I don't expect video poker to be a visual masterpiece, but Triple Double Bonus Poker could use a facelift. The cards look like something from the early 2000s, and the overall design feels outdated. It's not very appealing to the eye, and in today's world of stunning graphics, it's a letdown.
Gameplay-wise, it's just your run-of-the-mill video poker. You get dealt five cards, and you can choose which ones to keep and which to discard. There's nothing innovative or exciting about it. Other video poker games offer a lot more variety and engaging gameplay. This one feels like it's stuck in the past.
The paytable is where this game really falls flat. It's called Triple Double Bonus Poker, so you'd expect some thrilling bonuses, right? Wrong. The payouts are meager, and it feels like a constant battle to score anything substantial. The promised triple and double bonuses are rare, and when they do come, they don't make much of a difference.
Another thing that I consider to be a downside is the lack of a progressive jackpot. Many video poker games have a progressive jackpot that can make things really interesting. But in Triple Double Bonus Poker, what you see is what you get. No big, exciting jackpots to chase after.
On the plus side, I did enjoy the Gamble feature, and the possibilities it offers. I was able to exponentially raise my winnings, so I’d say this is a bright spot, one that lifts up this game quite a lot.
Overall, Triple Double Bonus Poker by Saucify was a bit of a letdown for me. The graphics and sounds are mediocre, the gameplay is uninspiring, and the payouts with the fabled Triple Double Bonus, just a kids story. If you're looking for a video poker game that gets your heart racing and your adrenaline pumping, this isn't it.
