Cleopatras Pearls: Feels a Bit Unfinished

As a big fan of ancient Egypt-themed slots, I was excited to check out Cleopatra's Pearls when it was released back in September. Swintt has a reputation for producing unique and innovative slots, so I was eager to see what they had come up with this time.

When I first started playing, I was immediately struck by the game's unconventional layout of 5 reels and 3 rows. I'm used to playing slots with more reels and rows, so this was a refreshing change of pace. The game also has up to 50 paylines, which gives me more chances to win.

The graphics and sound effects disappointed me a little. It’s not that they look awful, but something about the visuals make me think the slot looks unfinished. The theme of ancient Egypt is beautifully represented, from the pyramids and hieroglyphs to the Cleopatra symbols. While there are some fluid animations built-in, I couldn’t help wanting more from this slot.

The gameplay is simple and straightforward, but there are also some interesting bonus features to keep things exciting. The Pyramid Wilds substitute for all other symbols, and the Pearl Scatters trigger the Pearl feature. The Pearl feature is the highlight of the game, and it's a unique and innovative take on the Hold and Win mechanic. Overall, I had some fun playing Cleopatra's Pearls, but I don’t think it’s worth playing it in the long run. Sure, with a bit of luck, there are some nice wins to be had, but at the end of the day, I was left with mixed feelings about the slot, so I’m giving it an average score.
