Double Aces and Faces Multi-Pay By WGS: Steer Clear!
Eduard rated this game:

I gotta be straight with you: I tried out the Double Aces and Faces Multi-Pay by WGS video poker game, and man, was I disappointed. Let me break it down for you.
First off, the gameplay felt clunky and uninspired. It's like they slapped together a bunch of poker elements without much thought. The controls were awkward, making it frustrating to play. You'd expect a game in this day and age to be smooth and intuitive, but this one missed the mark big time.
Now, let's move on to the graphics and sounds. Frankly, they're a bit outdated. I think that the graphics looked bad even in the early 2000s. Now they are just horrendous.. The cards and interface lack the crisp and vibrant design you'd expect in a contemporary video poker game. As for the sounds, they're just plain annoying. The repetitive jingles and card shuffling noises can get on your nerves pretty quickly.
And if I am to talk about the features, well, prepare for disappointment coming your way. The Double Up option, which should add some excitement, felt more like a chore than a bonus. It was poorly implemented and didn’t add any real thrill to the game. Plus, the lack of variety in special features left me feeling bored and uninterested. The Multihand option doesn’t do much to improve this department… If anything, it just complicates the gameplay even more.
And to add insult to injury, the paytable was downright stingy. Winning hands didn’t pay out as much as they should have, making it feel like you were constantly fighting an uphill battle. A good video poker game should balance risk and reward, but this one just left me feeling cheated.
All in all, Double Aces and Faces Multi-Pay by WGS is a prime example of how not to make a video poker game. The lackluster gameplay, outdated graphics, annoying sounds, and uninspiring features make it a hard pass for me. Save your time and money for something that’s actually worth playing.
