I started out small in this 6 reel and 3 to 5 row slot and had between 2,000 to 10,000 paylines for the most part during my session. Matching symbols were landing every 3 to 6 spins thanks to the medium-high volatility. 

Thanks to the cascading reels, about half of these wins would lead to an extra matching combination dropping down the reels and increasing the win slightly. For the most part, the base game gave me around 1x to 4x wins which was fairly profitable in the long run. 

Coming to the bonus game, you can win between 8 to 27 free spins depending on how many scatters you land. Every time I got into the round I got 8 or 12 free spins which felt significant with the increasing win multiplier. However, there was a major issue that I had to deal with.  

Using the bonus gamble feature almost felt mandatory because the wins without the gamble were incredibly underwhelming. If you are going for the gamble feature, I’d recommend gambling for increased paylines and multipliers but not more spins. 

I rarely got the extra spins but more often than not, it was easy to get the multiplier up to 3x and the paylines up to 5,000. With this configuration, I won between 30x to 45x my bet which was more than the regular free spins by a longshot, the extra paylines can make a big difference. 

You also have a bonus buy feature to help you get past the base game which I tried out extensively during my playthrough. As stated previously, I used the gamble mechanics for 5,000 paylines and 2x win multipliers which helped me win significant sums thanks to the buy bonus. 

If you are feeling spicy, I’d recommend taking the bonus buy and trying out the gamble for yourself. Most of the time, I was getting between 50x to 450x returns depending on how many free spins I bought using the bonus buy. 

Although Bison Rising Reloaded Megaways doesn’t come with the most unique themes and feels quite generic at times, you can’t underestimate the winning potential of this slot title.
