Blackjack Double Exposure by Red Rake Gaming: Double Trouble!
Eduard rated this game:
2.5 out of 5
Blackjack Double Exposure by Red Rake Gaming left me in a state of mixed emotions as I checked out this intriguing variant of the classic card game. Here's my critical take on the experience, one that you will find helpful… Or so I wish.
To cut right to the good stuff, I’ll tell you about the game's standout feature, its unique Double Exposure rule, which initially appears promising. Both of the dealer's cards are revealed from the start, providing players with valuable information to make strategic decisions. This added transparency to the game, making it appealing to those who enjoy a more analytical approach.
But, as I continued to play, I noticed that the Double Exposure feature came with a price. If you were to draw, the dealer got the win. Also, If blackjack occurred with the first hand, the payout was 1:1. Well, this my friends did sit well with me. I mean all the advantages that Double Exposure got me, went down the drain. I gotta give it low points for that…
And while we are in the low points category, there is no Surrender option either. What’s up with that? Also, the graphics lacked the sophistication and detail I've come to expect from modern online blackjack games. The overall presentation felt somewhat dated and did not do justice to the innovative gameplay concept.
It didn’t matter that the user interface was intuitive, making it easy to place bets and execute game actions. I had too many red flags, so my mind was made up on this game.
While it offers a unique twist on traditional blackjack, this game gives with one hand and takes with the other. That innovative feature, the Double Exposure, is in my eyes anyway, just a smokescreen to get to play the game and, for the most times, lose money. My advice? There are plenty of fish in the sea, meaning that there are way more compelling games out there than Blackjack Double Exposure by Red Rake Gaming.
