Blackjack by Wizard Games: Be A Whiz At 21!
Eduard rated this game:
4.5 out of 5
Hey there, I'm excited to tell you about Blackjack by Wizard Games! It's the classic card game we all know and love, brought to life in a super user-friendly way.
Wizard Games really nailed the high points of Blackjack. The graphics are sleek and the gameplay is smooth. You'll feel like you're at a real casino, making those tough decisions right from the comfort of your own couch. Plus, the game's design keeps you coming back for more, as it's addictive, in the best way possible.
One of the best things about this game is its simplicity. The rules are straightforward. You get two cards, and so does the dealer. Number cards are worth their face value, face cards are worth 10, and aces can be 1 or 11, whichever helps your hand more. You can hit to get more cards or stand to keep what you have. The real thrill? Trying to beat the dealer without busting. It's all about strategy, making it perfect for casual gamers and card sharks alike.
But, as always, nothing is perfect. And in this game, the thing that got me feeling a bit down, is the fact that it doesn’t include a Gamble feature. Yep, you read that right. You are not able to try and double up your wins. I believe this is a bad decision taken by the development team, but I guess they had their reasons.
Aside from this shortcoming, I truly enjoyed this game. The Multihand option made it much more complex than a classic blackjack game. Also, the sound design it’s exquisite. It’s been a while since I came across a game that had such beautiful sounds and background music. So, I’ll give the producers a pass for the missing Gamble feature.
In the end, I guess that Blackjack by Wizard Games is perfect for those moments when you want some quick entertainment or to brush up on your card skills. It's not about gambling your life savings away, but about having a blast while trying to outsmart the dealer. Give it a try, and you'll see how thrilling it can be!
