Sausage Party - You’re Invited to Play This Tongue-in-Cheek Slot

It’s always good to come across a branded slot because they’re generally well themed and have lots of exciting features. This much is true for Blueprint Gaming’s Sausage Party, which is based on the 2016 adult comedy of the same name.

I haven’t actually watched the film but a quick search tells me it’s about a sausage in a supermarket who learns his fate and decides to prevent it. The slot has a supermarket setting and features the sausage and other comedic characters as symbols on the reels.

The graphics and video animations are good, though I’m not such a big fan of the background music. It’s pleasant enough, if a bit repetitive. To be honest, I was expecting something more fast-paced and upbeat, especially since it’s meant to be a party. 

If you’re a fan of the Sausage Party movie, I guess you’ll appreciate the design of the slot and its features more than someone who hasn’t watched it. 

The slot’s highly volatile and this was obvious during my gaming session as I hardly landed any big wins. There was one that was a dozen times my bet but the rest were much smaller. 

Then there are the special features. Sausage Party has six random enhancers and the Wild Aisles feature where you can win one of six bonuses. These sound promising though during my session I only got two enhancers and didn’t get to play any of the Wild Aisles bonuses.

Sausage Party sounds promising thanks to its many enhancers and bonuses. However, the downside to this slot is that you’ll have to play for quite a while before you get to experience them all just once each. 

I still enjoyed playing the slot, though I would have liked it better if I got to play more of the special features.
