Midas vs Medusa WildEnergy: Pick Your Fate as Gold and Stone Fight Over 10,000x Payouts

Midas vs Medusa WildEnergy by Bulletproof Games makes you witness a face-off between two legends, both capable of turning your session upside down. One touch from Midas, one stare from Medusa, and you’re either walking away heavy or stuck watching your balance freeze. With a 10,000x max win hanging in the background, I sat through this clash to see which side could actually make me profitable.
This is a six-reel, four-row slot with up to 4,096 ways to win. The symbols fit the theme well: golden lyres, wine amphoras, crowns, and treasure chests, and visually, it’s hard to complain. Where it does lose points is the 94% RTP, which is on the lower side and very noticeable over time.
Volatility isn’t officially listed, but from how it played for me, it leaned low to medium-low. Wins came often. I was landing something every two to three spins, usually between 0.80x and 1x my bet, not high enough to keep me afloat, but that’s where the other base game features came in to help.
The game has two expanding wilds, Midas, which can go up to a 50x multiplier, and Medusa, expanding with random multipliers up to 20x multiplier. Yet, my biggest base-game hit reached 13x my bet.
The bonus round is where things get interesting, but getting there naturally didn’t go well for me. You need three or more scatters to trigger up to 10 free spins, and after a long dry run, I gave up and used the bonus buy. There are two options, one costing 100x and the other 250x your bet.
The first buy paid me 193x my bet. The second one actually surprised me, returning 2,416x, which felt unreal for a moment. Thinking lightning might strike twice, I bought it again and this time walked away with just 23x my wager. That summed up the risk perfectly.
If you’ve got a deep bankroll and don’t mind swings, the bonus buy can pay. If not, I’d keep my distance. The base game doesn’t do enough to support long sessions, and relying on bought bonuses is a big no.
In short, Midas vs Medusa WildEnergy has serious potential, but almost all of it sits inside the bonus round. The base game feels tame, the RTP works against you, and the bonus is either a blessing or a trap. So choose carefully.
PROS - Win potential up to 10,000x
- Multiple bonus rounds
- Expanding wilds
- Multiple high payout features
CONS - Low symbol payout
- Bonus rounds are hard to land
- Low RTP
Vault Raiders DoubleMax
Vault Raiders DoubleMax has great mechanics like the cascade and DoubleMax multiplier, but the high volatility makes it a slow grind. I liked the mini-game with the safes, but unless you get lucky, it doesn’t feel very rewarding overall.
Tiki Runner Clusters
i tried the golden bet and it did give me free spins faster, but the wins were still pretty average. best hit was like 40x after a couple cascades. not bad, not great, just fine for a quick session.
Vault Raiders DoubleMax
I love the concept, and the free spins trail is cool, especially when you get the multipliers going. Encore mode helped me hit free spins, ended up with a solid €136 win on €6 stake. It’s not massive, but it feels rewarding when it clicks.
Fuel The Mule
not sure bout this one, cool idea with that tophit reel but payout wasn’t great. free spins helped a lil but even with a few wilds i barely got 40x. looks nice tho, just wish it hit more often
Tiki Runner Clusters
The game feels decent overall. The cluster hits can pay, but the medium-high volatility shows quickly. My best round was around 55x after a few wild boosts, but many spins felt quiet. It’s a fair option if you like steady play and occasional spikes.
Fuel The Mule
tried fuel the mule for a bit, the mule feature’s fun when it hits but it don’t come that often. got some 5x and 8x top reels but most spins were dry. not bad but feels kinda slow, more of a grind than a thrill.
