Tutan Keno by 1X2 Gaming: An Egyptian Adventure Lacking Shine
Vlad Baciu rated this game:
2.5 out of 5
I’m going to share with you my honest take on Tutan Keno by 1X2 Gaming, as this game left me with mixed feelings. It's a bit of a rollercoaster ride.
The gameplay is, to put it simply, basic. You can adjust your bet and select up to 15 numbers, and that's pretty much it. Sure, simplicity has its charms, but in this case, it borders on a lack of excitement. There are no bonus rounds, Autoplay options, or unique features to add that much-needed zing. While I did appreciate the ability to select more numbers, I couldn't help but wish for something more engaging to keep me playing.
As for the graphics, it's a mixed bag. The Egyptian theme is there, and I enjoyed the animation with the flying beetles revealing numbers. However, for a game released in 2016, the visual quality is below par. The assets look pixelated, and there's noticeable misalignment in the numbers. Moreover, you can spot some rough edges and banding in the scroll displaying potential wins. The theme shines through, but it's the visual aspect that needs serious work.
Sound-wise, in my opinion, the game feels incomplete. While you'll hear sound effects when adjusting your bet, the selection of numbers is eerily silent. There's no background music, but when the numbers are drawn, you're treated to a pleasant Egyptian soundtrack. The individual sound elements are decent, but the overall audio experience lacks cohesion.
Where the game excels is the user interface, which is intuitive and user-friendly. I faced no issues when adjusting my bet or selecting numbers. Everything works smoothly.
In conclusion, Tutan Keno by 1X2 Gaming is a game that left me with mixed feelings. While it offers some merits, such as the option to select up to 15 numbers and boasts interesting animations, it falls short in terms of features, visual quality, and sound design. If you're looking for a basic keno experience with an Egyptian theme and no frills, Tutan Keno might be your cup of tea. However, in my opinion, it falls within the average category, and I'm not wholeheartedly recommending it.
- Select up to 15 numbers
- Good animations
- Nice sound effects & music
- Lack of features
- Low visual quality
- Incomplete sound design
