Easter Frog Dice: A Frog-Shaped Master of Disguise

I actually discovered this game after a casino I play at sent me an Easter Offer with 20 Free Spins. Even if I did not make so much bank with them, I saw the potential.

What caught my eye was the similarity to Secrets of Alchemy, another Amusnet title that I very much enjoy. The main difference is the way the Toppling Reels feature works, with Easter Frog Dice having multipliers after each winning combination. It starts from x2 and increases by 1 each time there is a winning combination.

There is a Scatter Symbol, however it does not trigger Free Spins. Instead, it pays a fixed amount per number of symbols, without depending on the paylines. Here is the big money move: if the Scatters land when you already have a stacked multiplier, enjoy watching your balance go up (if you don’t gamble the winnings, that is).

There aren’t too many things to be said about the symbol’s design, as most of them are dice. There are, however, a few ornate dice that feature Easter symbolism such as: a watering can with tulips and a pair of bunny ears to form the bouquet, a chocolate bunny with colored eggs inside, with  the highest paying symbol being a cracked red easter egg with the Easter Frog being slightly visible.

The Wild symbol expands and fills the entire reel when it lands. It only does this the first time it lands, even if not all 3 Wilds were involved in a winning combination and disappeared.

In my most honest opinion, with a background of being an Amusnet enthusiast, I did not enjoy this version as much as the non-dice version. It feels like something is lacking, and believe it or not, it felt like it paid more in the original version.
