Fortune Dogs is set on a street in China. I liked the attention to detail in the game design. Tall skyscrapers have staircases on the sides, and Chinese markings can be seen on different buildings. Remember that the playing grid in the game is transparent. That means you’ll be treated to nice scenery throughout the game. 

The feature that impressed me most in the game is the Fortune Dogs. As you play, you’ll notice that some symbols appear as doubles or triples, and that is all thanks to this feature. I liked how this is available in both the base game and free spins bonus. Whenever the symbols appear as doubles or triples, they’ll act and pay as such. 

I was able to generate big profits in the free spins bonus. The game awards 8 free spins, and the best part is that these can be retriggered. Still, I noticed that it’s hard to trigger the bonus and even harder to retrigger them.     

The bonus I was able to trigger more frequently is the Prize Pot. This is fairly straightforward. You’ll get a grid with many identical symbols, and you have to pick from the bunch until you get 3 matching jackpots. The options here are Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand. In my gameplay, I always landed the Mini Jackpot, possibly because more of the cells are filled with Mini Jackpot options. But it’s still fairly generous. 

Remember that these jackpots are awarded as multipliers. The game adjusts the prizes as you play, and they’re reset to the base amounts when you score a win. 

To sum up, Fortune Dogs is a perfectly-designed Chinese slot game. I found it quite lucrative, particularly because of the jackpots. The free spins were a little hard to trigger in the game.
