The base game was quite good, thanks mainly to the slot’s Megaways system. I loved the unpredictability of it and liked not knowing how many symbols and paylines each spin would produce. I was lucky enough to trigger the free spins round quite early on in my playthrough. I could have earned four to nine spins and ended up with five. I wasn’t a big fan of this part of the feature, to be honest. If a slot’s going to randomize how many free spins you get, the minimum number should be higher than four, in my opinion. 

From my five free spins I won around 15x my bet. This was a decent amount, but nothing spectacular. What I liked about the free spins round was that there was a multiplier that increased with every win and didn’t reset in between spins. If my round had lasted longer, I could have ended up with a much bigger win.

Overall, I was pleased with Golden Ocean Megaways and would give it a thumbs up. I’d suggest giving the slot a spin if you’re after a game that looks good, is easy to play, and has a free spin round with the potential to give big payouts.
