Jesters Book of Gold: Be Careful Not to Get Fooled

The first thing that hit me was the vibrant visuals. Jesters Book of Gold features a bright purple background, with a pattern that suits the theme of the game really well. More than that, you have one of the jokers on the screen next to the reels, watching you as you play the game. I like that both the background color and the joker changes when you trigger the special feature. To complete the picture, the sound design was made perfectly for this game, in my opinion. It’s not annoying like I’ve seen with many other titles in the past.

Now, let me tell you about my experience with Jesters Book of Gold. Starting off with the basic features, I’m happy to say that it got both an autoplay and a turbo function, complete with 3 playing speeds. Because I like fast-paced gameplay from time to time, I went with the third and fastest speed while playing the game.

One other nice aspect is the interface, which is clean and easy to use. All the buttons are on one side of the screen, and that lets me focus on the game itself more, rather than thinking where all the options are located. Because the game can be played at a fast speed, I would advise caution, especially when playing with a high bet value. If you’re not paying attention, your balance can deplete quite fast if you’re not triggering the bonus feature.

Free Spins are the main attraction of the game, and while they were the most lucrative part of my gameplay, I’m disappointed to say that all my profits accumulated during the free spins were burned in the base game. For some reason, many of my rounds went by without any win. The good part is that there’s a Buy Feature available, and I love that. It offers 3 buy options, but I would not recommend the most expensive one. If you want to test your luck from the beginning, select a modest bet and use the cheapest buy option. It can be a hit or miss, but playing the base game in the long run would be worse in my opinion.
