Spade Gaming is known for creating games with creative themes and excellent artwork. Golden Whale isn’t an exception. It takes us to the bottom of the ocean. The blue waters cover the backdrop of the slot machine, with sea plants popping up. Whenever you spin the reels, you’ll hear the sound of underwater bubbles. This really calmed me down as I played the game. Unfortunately, the slot machine doesn’t have a soundtrack. 

A yellow shark works as the wild, and I noticed that it appears frequently in the main game and free spins. I like how it doubles all wins and substitutes all symbols apart from the scatter. It obviously helped to create winning combos.  

Now, on to the bonus features of this slot machine. The best feature for me is the free spins bonus. It’s a little hard to trigger this bonus, but I like how lucrative it is. At the start of the bonus game, players are awarded 8 spins with a 2X multiplier. More spins and multipliers are granted by choosing 2 out of 5 treasure boxes. The most you can get is 33 free spins and a 15X multiplier. 

And that’s not all. I was impressed by the fact that free spins can be retriggered infinitely. In my experience, retriggering the bonus 3 times is quite rare. 

I also liked the gamble feature. Activated after every winning spin, this feature can multiply your reward. Be careful though, since you can just as easily lose your entire win. Spade Gaming adds a twist to the gamble feature. You can guess the suit to multiply your wins by 4. Guessing the correct card color doubles your reward. 

Overall, I enjoyed the bonus features of this game. It awards lots of free spins with extra multipliers. The gamble feature is also quite lucrative.
