Mexican Fiesta-themed slots have been incredibly popular recently and Grand Pepper Party by Wizard Games is shaping up to be a big contributor to the genre’s fame. It has bright and colorful graphics, relatively simple gameplay, and a few customization options which make it fun. 

After playing the game for an hour or so, the first thing that caught my attention was the frequent wins thanks to the medium volatility. Although not significant in their own right, in my view, they are a nice change of pace until you hit the bonus round. 

The game also has an ante bet mechanic which can be activated for a 0.20x increase in the amount you bet. I’d recommend keeping it on as I saw a remarkable increase in wild and scatter drops during my session for the minimal increase in price. 

The bonus feature can be a bit tricky to land but also comes with the opportunity to win big in the game. You start off with 5 free spins and every three scatters landed awards you 3 extra spins and a bigger moving wild symbol which can go up to 4x4 if you get 9 scatters. 

Although I didn’t get all 9, I got 6 of them during my testing and had a win over 120x my bet amount. 

You also have a buy bonus feature if you aren’t getting lucky with scatter drops, but I would not recommend taking it. The feature costs 135x your bet and during my extensive testing, I didn’t see wins much higher than 60x my bet after buying the feature a bunch of times. 

That’s all there is to it! Just remember to bet small and enjoy the ride until you get to the bonus round. It might take a while but it will be well worth the gameplay, in my opinion.
