From the moment I loaded it, the similarities were hard to miss. Same core mechanics, same pacing, just a different ancient backdrop. This time, you’re dropped into the Aztec jungle, hoping the scenery distracts you from what the reels are about to do to your balance.

The slot runs on a 5-reel 4-row setup with 1,024 ways to win and supports bets ranging from 0.80 up to 44. There’s a Grand Jackpot capped at 625x your bet, which already sets modest expectations. Unfortunately, the RTP sits at 94.31%, and that lower return becomes noticeable fairly quickly during longer sessions.

In the base game, I struggled to find any real rhythm. It often took eight to nine spins just to land a single win, and even then, payouts usually landed between 1.25x and 3.75x my bet. Small wins felt rare, and bigger hits never really showed up, making the base game feel slow and unrewarding.
