Competitions: Spin, Profit, Climb the Leaderboard 

Competitions are the newest way to play on SlotsMate, and the idea is dead simple: keep spinning with your Gems, build up a profit, and watch yourself climb a live leaderboard against everyone else doing the same. 

You just have to sign up for a SlotsMate account, but there’s no entry fee, no button to press.

All games on the Play with Gems page are eligible for the competition. Also, throughout the site, the games eligible are marked with the “GEMS” label. Here’s everything worth knowing.

How Competitions Work

Two slot Competitions are running at all times, and you’re automatically enrolled in both:

• Weekly Competition - starts every Monday at 00:00 GMT-4 and ends on Sunday of the same week at 23:59 GMT-4;
• Monthly Competition - starts on the first day of the month at 00:00 GMT-4 and ends on the last day of the month at 23:59 GMT-4.

Play through the week, and you’re building a weekly and monthly score at the same time, so one good session can nudge you up two leaderboards at once. I’d warm up on our free slots first, then bring the favorites over. 

How Is the Competitions Leaderboard Scored?

The slot competitions leaderboard works just like our General Gems leaderboard: we rank players by profit over the timeframe. A few things worth knowing:

• Play at least one Play with Gems session, and you’re in the race;
• Rewards go to players who finish in winning positions, so a positive net result over the week or month is what puts you in real contention;
• You’ll always see your own position, win or lose, so you can track your progress even if you don’t hit a top spot;
• The more profit you bank over the timeframe, the higher you climb.

How Do We Decide the Winners Who Get Rewarded?

When a competition clock hits zero, the leaderboard freezes on the spot. From there, we review the top finishers and check their sessions, so every reward is verified rather than auto-dropped.

Once everything checks out, those players are paid in the order of their finish. A higher place, a bigger reward. Reward tiers can be refreshed from one competition to the next, so always check the current board for what’s live right now. 

Which Are the Competitions Games You Can Play?

Every game in the Play with Gems section counts toward your competition score, so there’s no small print to sift through.

Can I Check the Past Competitions’ Winners?

Yes. The Past Competitions Leaderboards let you scroll back through finished weekly and monthly boards, see who won, and even the games they made most of their profits on. 

It’s part hall of fame, part scouting report, useful if you like to spot which slots have been running hot for the players at the top. 

Competitions, in a Nutshell

I’ll be honest, Competitions is the feature I’ve been waiting for on SlotsMate. I like knowing my spins are building toward something, and there’s a certain satisfaction in watching my name climb a board over the week. 

Don’t sleep on the past boards either, they’re the best place to spot which games have been running hot before you pick where to spend your Gems.
