Train Heist Johnny Cash: Blow Open the Train for Up to 10,000x Rewards

BGaming has brought its cactus cowboy back for another robbery in Train Heist Johnny Cash, on a train loaded with worth up to 500x cash coins. This Wild West gunslinger is chasing cascading clusters, with a 10,000x max win. And I couldn’t let this train leave the station without me.

Set in the middle of a rugged western mountain range, the game is played on a 6-reel, 5-row grid using Cluster Pays. Landing 5 or more matching symbols in adjacent positions creates a winning cluster, which then cascades off the reels. However, the TNT symbols are the ones you'll want to keep an eye on.

With a 97% RTP, the train kept me busy almost every other spin, although most payouts landed between 0.40x and 0.80x my bet. That too, despite the cascading mechanics. Personally, I think the returns could have been better had the game used a scatter-pay system instead of cluster pays.

Everything changed whenever TNT landed as part of a winning cluster. Watching it blast open highlighted positions and replace them with cash symbols worth up to 500x my bet led to payouts of 6x, 8x, and even 10x my bet. My highest base game win eventually reached 28x my bet.

The free spins feature arrived after roughly 83 spins, rewarding me with 8 free spins. I also managed to retrigger 2 additional free spins. The TNT symbols helped me unlock the Hold & Spin feature.

Here, every Money Bag symbol collected the values of all the Coin symbols already on the reels. As long as another Money Bag appeared before the respins expired, the feature kept snowballing until it eventually wrapped up with a satisfying 134x my bet.

After that win, I immediately lowered my stake because I didn't want to give back my profits through the game's low base game payouts. For free spins, there are several shortcuts available, including a 100x Bonus Buy and the Super Free Spins for 250x your bet. If you ask me, I'd rather recommend using the 3x ante bet instead.

After playing more Wild West-themed slots than I can count, I can safely say Train Heist Johnny Cash isn't the very best of the bunch. Even so, its high bonus wins, with frequent base game returns, make this train robbery that's well worth joining for at least a few spins.
