Black Lounge Bell Link by EGT Digital continues the studio’s golden bell series with another progressive jackpot setup. I enjoyed their earlier bell-themed releases for their classic one-armed bandit style. So this time, I wanted to see how much the addition of expanding wilds actually changed the experience.

I was greeted by a five-reel, four-row slot operating on 40 paylines. The grid is filled with cards, bells, expanding wilds, gold bars, dice, jackpot symbols, and classic slot icons. Landing at least three matching symbols on a payline awards a payout, while five or more bell symbols anywhere on the grid trigger the Hold and Win feature.

During my playthrough, I was landing wins every 3 to 4 spins, and most returns stayed between 1.80x and 2.50x my bet. The expanding wilds helped me land wins of 8x, 10x, and 12x my bet.

My highest base game win came when expanding wilds connected three lines of lucky sevens, rewarding me with a 34x payout. Feeling lucky, I pushed that win into the gamble feature and somehow walked away with 68x instead.

Within my first 20 spins, I activated the bonus round and secured a 47x return thanks to a Mini Jackpot landing on the grid. I managed to enter the bonus feature several more times afterward, collecting payouts of 40x, 32x, and 28x my bet. In one instance, a Minor Jackpot appeared, pushing my total return to 118x my bet. 

According to the feature rules, landing between 15 and 19 bell symbols multiplies all visible prizes by 2x, excluding the Major and Grand Jackpots. Unfortunately, I never managed to land more than 13 bells during any feature. Still, I walked away fairly satisfied overall.

There is no bonus buy option here, so there is no shortcut to the features. The gamble feature, however, is always available if you want to risk doubling your winnings or losing everything instantly. Personally, I would advise caution with it, as it can turn against you very quickly.

For me, Black Lounge Bell Link improves noticeably over its predecessors in terms of payout potential. Between the expanding wilds and stronger symbol payouts, the base game itself remained entertaining enough throughout my session.

The wild is a fiery pot that lands only on the middle three reels, while scatters pay without unlocking any extra features. The only bonus feature includes progressive jackpots and can trigger a chest-pick bonus at any time.

My base game hits ranged 2x to 4.5x my bet, which sounds fine until you find out they came every 15 to 20 spins. Even that 4.5x high came too late, with a stacked wild on the fourth reel connecting a few flaming 7 lines. I gambled some of the smaller hits hoping to push them somewhere useful, but I pushed too hard and gave it all back.

The bonus, and the only thing that could save my balance, is the Clover Chance Jackpot, which could show up at random after any spin. The screen flips to 15 chests, and you tap to collect pearls and lucky clovers. If you match three of the right kind, you take home one of the four progressive jackpots.

Overall, my session was the kind that makes you stare at the autoplay counter. One decent hit, then nothing. There are no major downsides when it comes to structure, but I can’t be optimistic after a session like this one.

The grid beside which our feline flips his coins can be coloured with strong reds of envelopes, lanterns, and firecrackers across just five paylines. Beneath the surface, you can hope to trigger respins and a random Clover Chance Jackpot with progressive values, on your road to a 7,500x max reward.

There wasn't much help from the festive symbols, as even the gold ingot stacks the paytable at only 20x your bet for three of a kind. I didn’t see them at all, only fruit combos for below 0.7x returns. Luckily, wilds did most of the hard work in my base game, combining with lower and higher symbols to get me 1.8x to 4.8x returns.

The only feature I triggered within around 200 spins was respin, but only twice. When the respin fires mid-spin, the reels fill with wilds, empty spots, and one randomly selected symbol. Anything that matches sticks in place, and the reels respin until nothing new lands or the grid fills up.

My first one came in early, with a couple of red envelopes locking on for a 17x my bet by the end. The second came much later in the run, and the tiger wild stuck through three respins to push me to 12x my bet.

The standard red-or-black double-up game is there, with a max of five tries, but the low ceiling means the bigger hits are locked.

The other two bonuses stayed locked, but here's a brief rundown. The multiplier feature waits for the moment every position on the grid is filled with winning symbols, then hits all line wins with x5, x10, x15, or x25.

The Clover Chance Jackpot also triggers randomly, but at the end of any spin. It drops you into a 15-chest pick where you collect pearls and lucky clovers to climb four progressive levels, paying out the matching tier once you collect three of a kind.

Overall, my session reminded me of what "so-so" means. I couldn't unlock the grid's full potential, but I enjoyed my time with this slot because of the strong base game and one of the features.
