With classic slots gaining popularity, I decided to give it a try, and here’s why I was pretty impressed with this new entry. 

The game is played on a 3x3 grid with 27 winning lines, meaning you only need three matching symbols on adjacent reels to win. They can appear on any row and still award a prize. True to tradition, the slot doesn’t include wild symbols, but I was surprised to see it also lacks scatter symbols.

One positive worth noting is that wins on multiple paylines can be awarded which can help even lower symbols have considerable payouts. This helped me out a lot during my session where I mostly landed matching symbols every 3 to 7 spins with most payouts coming in between 6x to 12x my bet on average. 

Most wins in my session came through cherry and bell symbols and they could award up to 16x wins in a few cases which made me a decent profit. Symbols can land in stacks which complement the wins made on multiple lines and brought me steady gains as well. 

Unlike many other classic slots, Juicy Doubles offered consistent action and an enjoyable gameplay loop. I didn’t mind the absence of features or a bonus game.
