I want to start with my first thought when I opened Athena's Millions by Arrows Edge. Kudos for the design! This is how a slot with an overused theme should look. Athena stands guard on the left, Medusa gives you her famous stare from the reels, and the purple-gold color scheme looks amazing. Sound design matches too, subtle, but atmospheric.

Besides the visuals, the slot runs a 5x3 grid with 33 paylines, 95.09% RTP, high volatility, and 1700x max win. Medusa and the warrior pay the highest, a golden coin and a harp sit in the middle, vases and card royals round out the rest. One progressive Mega Jackpot ticks away at the top.

In the base game, I got used to returns between 0.4x and 2x my bet, which was, at the time, enough for me to stay in the company of the Greek goddess. Medusa lines carried the weight when they showed up.

Now, let’s talk about the thing that carried my session. If you land a Wild, it fills the reel while the others spin again. Then, each reel adds a multiplier, from x2 on the first to x10 on the fifth. The Wild shifts right each respin. A second Wild beside it fuses into a Super Wild, stacking multipliers up to x18 on your bet.

In my session, I watched one Wild on the 3rd reel expand, trigger respins, and an owl added two extra spins. A warrior line paid 14x my bet. Later, a reel-four Wild caught a harp at x8 for 17x the bet. Sure, it was nothing huge, but I had a steady and profitable session, and that’s all you need.
