Sigma Flush Attack: Double Up Decisions and a Jackpot That Ticks

Sigma Flush Attack by Arrows Edge gives us a break from spinning reels. Instead, you have five cards and a decision. Standard video poker rules apply, but the Flush Attack meter adds a twist. Fill it up, and your next Flush pays 150x instead of the usual 30x. Suddenly holding three hearts feels extraordinarily pleasant.

You can play anywhere from 1 to 100 hands per round, bet up to 5 coins, and chase a paytable that tops out at 300x your bet for a Royal Flush. A Double Up feature lets you gamble any win by picking a higher card than the dealer's. Risk it all or collect your call every time. A progressive jackpot also runs in the background and can hit at any moment, even on a losing hand.

In my session, Jacks or Better and Two Pairs kept the balance stable, and a few Three of a Kinds pushed it slightly up. The Flush Attack meter filled once, and I chased hearts for three hands straight without completing it. I was frustrated, couldn’t keep the poker face, but I knew what I signed up for.

Despite not losing, I never really progressed either. Unlike the jackpot that kept ticking upward, my balance just hovered. 

Overall, the gameplay has everything video poker needs, along with the Double Up that adds tension, and the Flush Attack in the heart of a game. However, the gray, muted design holds it back in my opinion. It works, it just doesn't excite visually.
