Deep in Aspect Gaming’s version of outer space, humans and aliens are locked in a struggle for control of a better world in Space Ways. Astronauts constantly travel across the galaxy in search of a brighter future. While wild multipliers of up to 25x and a progressive bonus multiplier promise rewards for those willing to join the mission. I, being the ever enthusiastic, joined this mission as well. 

This is a six-reel, seven-row slot built around cascading mechanics, where three or more matching symbols on adjacent reels create a payout. Rare extraterrestrial gems, astronauts, and aliens fill the grid, alongside wild multipliers and scatter symbols.

No shame in admitting it, but those wild multipliers were a rare sight during my journey through space. Most of my wins hovered between 0.60x and 1x my bet, arriving every 1 to 2 spins. Without the help of the wild multipliers, the low symbol payouts simply weren't enough to generate any meaningful rewards.

It was the hope of bonus round that kept me spinning for more than 200 spins. After nearly 90 spins, I finally triggered the feature. Here, every winning combination increases the multiplier by one step, while each scatter awards two additional spins.

I entered the feature with 10 free spins after landing four scatters and eventually collected 14 extra spins, bringing the total to 24 free spins. Despite all that extra playtime and the growing multiplier, I walked away with only 43x my bet.

There is a bonus buy option available, but after having my expectations repeatedly brought back down to Earth, I didn't feel much enthusiasm for forcing my way into another feature.

Gem Digger by Aspect Gaming is another mining-themed slot. Just like the name says, you’re digging for gems, and if you’re careless, this mine will chew through your balance fast. Thirty paylines, an underground setup, with very limited shortcuts. I went down there with the miner myself, and this is what I managed to pull out.

The game runs on a 5-reel, 4-row grid with 30 paylines and an RTP of 94.14%. Volatility isn’t officially listed, but from how it behaved during my session, it leaned medium-high. The symbols are split cleanly between low-paying icons and higher-value gems, and nothing about the setup feels padded.

In the base game, wins came fairly often. I was landing something every three to four spins, mostly small returns between 0.80x and 1.20x my bet. Every now and then, a better hit would land in the 6x to 7x range. There aren’t many features here, but frequent wilds and scatters did enough to keep the reels moving.

You’ll need three or more scatters to trigger 12 free spins, and I managed to land the feature twice within 50 spins, which honestly surprised me. Thanks to the sticky wilds, my first bonus round paid 170x my bet, while the second came in lower but still respectable at 69x return. Those two features alone carried my entire session.

My first 10 spins told me everything I needed to know about this session. The base game treated me well, and every two or three spins, I collected wins ranging from 0.8x to 2.16x my bet. An armor line hit early at x3 and paid 10x my stake, which was a good start. Two spins later, back-to-back eagle combinations landed while the multiplier sat at 4x, delivering 16x and 17x my bet in quick succession.

The only downside worth mentioning is the quietness of the slot between feature triggers.
