Lucky Nudge: This Very Basic Slot Isn't for Everyone

Lucky Nudge is designed to resemble and be played like a classic slot machine. It uses a 3x3 grid with five or nine paylines (you get to decide how many are in play) and a nudging feature as its highlight.

Even though I’m not such a big fan of classic slots, I was keen to try this one because of the nudges. I wanted to see how the feature worked and whether or not it would help me land some decent payouts.

Unfortunately, it only triggered a handful of times during my playthrough, and I only benefited from it once. There was a single spin where a stack of multiplier wilds nudged upwards, and my winnings were doubled to a little over 3x my bet.

The other few times the nudging mechanic came into play, I didn’t win. I was pleased that I got to see it in action at least once, though I was hoping to experience its effects more often while playing the slot.

I won quite regularly during the base game. Some of my payouts were less than my bet, while others were several times greater. My biggest wins were 5x, 7x, and 8x my total wager, which I was happy with.

Obviously, I would have preferred to score some bigger wins, but it was better to earn a few medium payouts than nothing at all. Having said that, I ended my playthrough with a loss. It wasn’t as much as I was expecting, but I still didn’t break even.

So would I suggest playing Lucky Nudge? Yes, but only if you like basic slots with completely stripped-back gameplay. If you’re expecting lots of action and feature triggers, this isn’t the game for you.
