When I started playing Rich Gecko, I was keen to see what the slot was like. However, I have to say that I was disappointed by the lack of bonus rounds and the fact that the one feature wasn’t worthwhile.

Whenever I won with a wild, the gecko would spin the wheel above the grid. This had various segments with cash prizes, and some of them awarded an extra spin along with their respective payout.

I only won with wilds twice during my playthrough, so I only got to benefit from the wheel feature two times. My first payout from it was just 6x my bet. The second time round, I was hoping for a bigger win, but actually earned less, winning a grand total of 3x.

What made the wheel feature disappointing for me was that it hardly triggered and when it did, it wasn’t rewarding at all. There were no bonus rounds, so ideally the wheel feature should have triggered more often and been more beneficial.

Having said all that, I liked the party theme and the catchy dance music that played in the background. As for the base game, it was good enough as I earned small payouts quite often.

To sum up, I wouldn’t recommend giving Rich Gecko a spin because it lacks proper bonus rounds and its special feature is underwhelming; at least it was for me. If you decide to play, hopefully you’ll have better luck than me.
