Bears Tricks Is Silly Fun, but Don't Expect a Gold Rush

After spending around 90 minutes playing Bears Tricks, my main takeaway is that this is a slot that doesn’t take itself seriously, and that’s part of its charm. This game is lighthearted, cartoon-styled, and built around the idea of mischievous bears pulling tricks in the forest. The animations and theme are definitely aimed at casual players or those looking for a cheerful break from the usual intense slot games.

From the start, the game looks and feels like something out of an animated kids’ show. The reels are filled with bears in costumes, honey jars, beehives, forest tools, and signs with silly sayings. The background shows a sunny forest clearing with butterflies and birds occasionally flying across the screen. It’s cute, colorful, and very approachable, but I can see how it might feel too juvenile for some.

In terms of features, the game runs on a standard 5-reel setup with 25 paylines. I had no trouble understanding the layout or symbols. What kept the gameplay engaging was the Bear Trick Bonus, which activates randomly. When it happens, one of the bears appears and reshuffles the reels or drops wilds in random places. It didn’t always lead to big wins, but it did keep things unpredictable.

There’s also a Free Spins feature that gets triggered by landing three tent scatter symbols. I managed to trigger it once. I got 10 spins, and during them, one of the bears kept popping up to transform lower-paying symbols into wilds. That gave me a decent 45x win, which was the best payout I got during my whole session.

Still, I have to admit that the base game didn’t do much for me in terms of payouts. Most of the time, it felt like I was spinning just to stay afloat. The wins came, but they were mostly small. And while the visuals are fun, the soundtrack is a bit too repetitive, it loops a bouncy tune that started to get on my nerves after 30 minutes.
