Diamond Bling: Looks Good, But Doesn't Have Much Going for It

Diamond Bling from BGaming is an online slot that’s designed with classic games in mind. It offers stripped-back gameplay and a host of symbols common to early slot games. However, in keeping with its diamond theme, all of the symbols that appear on the reels have been given a crystal-like appearance, which makes the slot somewhat visually appealing.

The very first fruit machines that paved the way for the slots we play today didn’t have special features. Diamond Bling recreates the experience of playing classic slots by offering no bonus rounds or even a wild. The only feature of any kind is the scatter, which pays 10x for three anywhere on the grid.

During my playthrough of Diamond Bling, I won a few scatter payouts and also scooped a prize worth 15x my bet thanks to a lucky assortment of matching symbols. The slot only had five paylines, which I thought should have been higher, especially since it had a 5x3 grid with room for many more ways to win. The lack of a wild and bonus rounds meant that there was practically nothing to look forward to. In other words, playing Diamond Bling was actually quite boring, to be totally honest.

At least the RTP of 96.1% was good. Overall though, I thought there weren’t enough reasons to make Diamond Bling worth playing. I liked the look of its symbols and thought the soundtrack was relaxing, but when it came to playing the slot, there simply wasn’t enough going on to make the gameplay enjoyable. I would recommend giving this one a miss.
