El Dorado Totems Dice: Looks Good, But Could Be Improved

I was looking forward to playing El Dorado Totems Dice and when it loaded, I thought the design was pretty good. The graphics were great and the soundtrack was atmospheric and matched the jungle/ancient civilization theme well.

The slot’s gameplay, however, was disappointing. First of all, the dice didn’t do anything. Even though ‘Dice’ is in the slot’s name and even though every regular symbol had a die on it, they were purely visual. I thought the dice might at least trigger some special effect or give extra payouts, but they didn’t do anything at all. 

I also didn’t like that there wasn’t a bonus round; the slot didn’t have free spins or a pick-me game or anything like that. There was, however, a wild that expanded and gave a respin, though with only 10 paylines, my chances of winning weren’t the best. Having said that, the paylines ran in both directions, which was a positive point. 

To sum up, I didn’t enjoy playing El Dorado Totems Dice, which was a shame because I thought it looked good and had promise. I don’t know why the provider added dice if they didn’t do anything, and I thought the slot should have had more paylines and features.
