Eye of Horus Tablets of Destiny Megaways: Not the Best Egyptian Megaways Slot

Eye of Horus Tablets of Destiny Megaways sounds like it’s a fun, exciting slot. However, I have to say that it didn’t quite meet my expectations. When the slot loaded, I thought the visuals were basic and the slot machine-style sound effects were dated.

They didn’t fit with the Egyptian theme well at all. There was also no background music, which was a shame. The slot’s gameplay was also fairly disappointing since I barely got to experience any of the features. I landed lots of expanding wilds, and that was it.

First of all, it’s worth mentioning that most Megaways slots have up to 117,649 ways to win and use the cascade mechanic. Eye of Horus Tablets of Destiny Megaways only has 15,625 ways to win at most and doesn’t have cascades that take place after every win.

The free spins round looked promising since it was preceded by a pick-me game where I could select tablets to unlock various enhancers. The round itself had a progression system where collecting Horus wilds upgraded symbols to the next most valuable symbol.

Unfortunately, I never got to play the free spins round. I needed three scatters for it to come into play. There were multiple spins where two scatters landed, but the third one I needed never made an appearance. 

I won a few times in the base game. The biggest payouts were 12x and 8x, while the rest were around the size of my bet or smaller. Given my poor luck and the lack of feature triggers, I’d suggest playing another Egyptian Megaways slot instead.
